Wear It Your Way with Wacoal

Having a versatile bra in your closet is must for all the women who uses a bra. Wearing different kind of outfits while not having a versatile bra can ruin your look. Let's say, you're wearing a tube top then you're wearing a conventional type of bra. The strap of your bra now looks outstanding especially if the color of the two is different. Even if you say that your top is in the same color with your bra, it ruins the purpose of the tube top.

Now, Wacoal has hundreds of versatile bra with different designs that you can choose from. You can visit their site here. I chose this design because I can wear conventionally, asymmetrical or a strapless with the basic features of half cup, slightly padded, and has an underwire. What I really like about this is that it has convertible straps with halter style option. Not all versatile bra has this kind of halter style in the center.

I can wear this kind of bra with my favorite outfits and not have a single problem about my undergarment. In terms of casual outfits, my kind of fashion is patterned with one of the characters of The Vampire Diaries, Katherine Pierce. Katherine’s tank tops are tight-fitting, and most have v-necklines and chest details, making them very figure-flattering.

With this kind of tank tops, I might need to use the bra in strapless since I would seldom use a jacket in a tropical country. Though for now, I could use some leather jacket since it's starting to get rainy.

As for the dresses, I love halter dress. Halter dress for summer, Halter dress for formal party, and also halter top for casual wears. Center Halter design for bra is made for this.

Last one is one sided shoulder. I usually love this type in tops like these.

But I also love this design with dress like this.
Usually, some girls uses strapless bra for this but you can also use one-sided strap in this kind of clothes. It offers more support.

Anyway, no matter what kind of fashion outfits you want to wear, as long as you have a versatile bra in your closet, you could always find a way not to let the strap of your bra shown to the public's eyes. We could say we could use the "colorless" strap bra. It is colorless, but somehow it bothers me. We could still see it with its shiny appearance.

I'd rather have Wacoal Products and 'Be Fun and Free' to wear it my way.

Don't Let Your Possessions Possess You

Have you seen the Leap Year movie? It's a good movie to watch. It's about a girl wanting to be engaged to her long time boyfriend. Unfortunately, her boyfriend doesn't seem to think about that so the girl tries to follow her boyfriend all the way to Dublin, Ireland to propose to him instead. The girl experienced different kinds of misfortune on her way, and met a irish man that would get her to Dublin.

This is where my topic would start. The said Irish man asked the girl a question when they were waiting for a train, "If you only had 60 seconds and your house is on fire, what would you save?". And I can't help myself and think of my answer to that. Of course, my rational side answered, when our house would be on fire, adrenaline.rush would start to kick in, I would try to save everything that I can.

I've seen news about victims of fire incidents and even a live telecast of houses or apartments on fire. People try to save a lot of things while the adrenaline rush is pumping. They would mostly say "I try to save what could be saved, I didn't think if I could even lift it. I just grab everything that I could".

Back in the movie, the girl can't seem to answer the question and asked the guy instead. This made me really think. Without the adrenaline rush thing, without those panic attack moments, what would I get? My answer would be none.

I would spend that 60 seconds trying to check whether my family and pets are safe. I won't even look for my phone or such. Material things seems to have a hold to us now. There are a lot of people who admits that they couldn't live without their phone, laptop, and such. My mom always told me that I won't be able to take these material things with me to afterlife or these things won't matter when I'm on my deathbed.

"Unnecessary possessions are unnecessary burdens. If you have them, you have to take care of them! There is great freedom in simplicity of living. It is those who have enough but not too much who are the happiest."
-Peace Pilgrim

One thing I learn whenever I decide to clean my room... really clean my room is to always learn to let go. I don't have a big room so I have to limit myself for keeping "trash" in it. In Buddhism (I'm not a Buddhist), they say that attachment to things are suffering. I think I kind of get it. I try to stop holding on the things I own even if it becomes useless. Of course we would say that this things has some memories blablabla... Hmmm... Not really. You, have the memories, not that thing. It would all be in your mind. I'm not saying that we should throw all our memorabilia away. What I'm trying to say is, decide if it is really a memorabilia or just a useless trash.

There are people who thinks that possessions are also some kind of a power. I don't know what to think about that but somehow, I get what they're trying to say. These materials could give you some leverage. In society, they based how happy and lucky you are through your possessions. But are they really happy?

"Your most precious, valued possessions and your greatest powers are invisible and intangible. No one can take them. You, and you alone, can give them. You will receive abundance for your giving."

My Snoring Cat

Hera, my cat is a very sweet and loving cat. She always sleeps with me in my room and keeps me company since I'm usually scared sleeping alone.

Tonight is a bit different though, she doesn't usually sleeps on my bed, she'd rather sleep on my desk since I kept on rolling on my bed when I can't get to sleep. As I said, tonight is different since she decided to sleep on my side.

It's a bit weird since I could hear her snoring lightly and her snores sounds like from a human being! Anyway, I still love my cat even though her fur keeps on getting on my face.

And she even uses my pillow.

Sorry for the low image quality

Keep Life Simple

Just Keep It Simple

Sometimes, we complain about our life being complicated. Mostly, we complain about life is unfair, we're not genuinely happy about the things happening in our life, we're often jealous (which is why we said that life is unfair in the first place), we criticize each other instead of helping one another, and a lot more.
...blablabla...*complain*complain*complain*

I admit. Back then, I'm one of those people who often complain about life being too hard and all. I always seem to face a lot of problems that it often get me thinking if it will always be like this. I always thought "I have a lot of things on my mind right now. I don't have a time to think about that" (nature, self awareness, social issues, etc.).

I seem to always think of the worst in the past few years. Then I realized, I won't be able to enjoy this life if I kept on seeing the ugly side of it.

Keep life simple? How?

My no. 1 rule: Don't Expect Too Much. This has been my motto since I went to college. Of course high school is very different from college especially in getting your ideal grades. Even if we give our very best there are just times that we don't get what we deserve. We can't control everything.

Eliminate Distractions and redefine your goals. Sometimes we tend to get lost in our track on our way to our goals because of all the distractions. These distractions usually jumbles our priorities and ends up being on our top list. Know the reason why we keep on doing things that we normally do. Why do you keep on checking twitter or facebook all the time? If you don't have a good answer to it, then maybe you should minimize the time you're spending on it.

Focus On The Things That Would Let You Grow As A Person. One of the reasons why I started blogging is because I see this as a way to develop myself by writing my thoughts and reflect about the hapennings in my life. What about yours?

Be Kind and Smile. Chances are, people would be a lot kinder to you. Smiling would definitely give you a positive aura and a smile to someone is a gift to a person. There are lot of things for you to smile about. Be grateful about a lot of things.

Start your day with a smile and a prayer. Enjoy a simple happy life.

Procrastination At Its Finest

Procrastination At Its Finest

Last Week, as I said to my post before this is that I’m working on a project for my Uncle’s House. I’m having a difficulty about the site. I can’t see any single soil of the site. Everything is in concrete and I mean the WHOLE village is concrete, not even a single tree. I have no idea what kind of soil they have and they said that the vicinity of that place experience a lot of flooding but not exactly on my uncle’s place.

Because I was afraid of making a mistake, I wasn’t always on the mood to continue my project. By that time, I’m done presenting my design and on the next step where I should create a working drawings. I’m gonna admit, usually I procrastinate when I know I have a time. Since I am on vacation and the said project doesn’t have a certain deadline, my procrastination skills got better. I kept on moving my own deadline for that project that it took me weeks to finish it when it only takes 3-5 days.

 Why Do We Procrastinate?

Most of us are having the same problem…and the same reason why we procrastinate.

Fear of failure and Perfectionism. Like what I said, I was afraid of making a mistake. I’m not that perfectionist but I want to make it right, we need to do it right. And because it’s for my uncle, I don’t want to be a failure either. Those feelings like insecurity can make you procrastinate in no time.

Cramming. Some people believe that best ideas and great work comes out when one is under pressure. Some of my classmates really experience this when they’re not even procrastinating. It happens when they’re about to finish our plates and then *poof* great idea comes in (they just don’t have the precious time). I believe this works for some but for me, the idea that I can't do a work until the deadline is just an hour from now is a bit frightening.

Disorganization. Messy room, scrambled schedule, waffling between projects and disordered priorities and goals.

Tips To Stop Procrastination

Change your scenery.
If you don’t have a time to clean your room yet, find a best workplace that would suit your work technique or study habit. Your desk might have a lot of distractions or looks like a tornado hit your desk. Sometimes, I would get my laptop and work somewhere else.

Get rid of the Internet or your Facebook.
Sometimes I would say to myself that I would check my account for only 5 mins, and before I knew it, I’ve been spending almost 2 hours in some social sites. When you don’t really need an internet connection to get your work done, then turn off your connection and start working. Eliminate that distraction!

Quit waffling between projects.
Working on several projects at once would seemingly take forever to complete.

Prioritize. Certain tasks will always hold more priority than others. If none of your projects are urgent, pick the most difficult one and get it over with. The easier ones that follow will seem like a piece of cake in comparison.

Keep a detailed to-do list.
Instead of putting a huge, month-long project down as one line item on your list, break it down into action items you can check off frequently. Usually, I create my to-do list for everyday. Writing down a to-do list would also help you to a better time management.

Don't expect perfection.
Just don’t. Give your best and that alone is perfect.

Assess your avoidance. Figure out which tasks you don’t like and why. Wanting to achieve productivity means getting to the root of the problem. Chart your common avoidances and find out which are leading you to procrastinate the most.

Make time for breaks. Working on a task for a long period of time is really exhausting. This makes procrastination inevitable. To avoid a burnout, schedule regular intervals of breaks but be careful, most of the break time gets us to procrastinate. You can also consider this as a small reward for yourself.

Evaluate your timing. Assessing how long it takes you to finish a variety of tasks will help you learn the severity of procrastination habits. This will also allow you to improve your speed and time management skills.

I hope this helps.

I don’t really like cramming and it’s a great feeling when you finished a task and you have an extra time before the deadline. It’s better than sneaking a time for yourself and feeling a bit guilty while you know you have to do something and by the end, all the stress and pressure would come to you.

The Best Way Out

The Best Way Out Of A Difficulty Is Through It.

I have been procrastinating for a week now. I have to design a house for my uncle and he needs it by two days from now. I'm not a licensed architect yet, I'm just an incoming 4th year student and I am s@#* scared that I might do something wrong.

So yeah, I presented my design to my uncle and he likes it. Now, I have to give my working drawings by wednesday. The only thing I've finsihed by now is the first page which consists of exterior perspective, vicinity map, and the site development plan. You might think that at least I've done something but NO, I still have a LOT of things to do.

I don't really like to procrastinate but due to having a lot of fears about the columns, I can't start on floor plan. I know I can't just run away from my problems and it would only create much bigger problems like I would end up cramming this project. So I did a little research, go through my notes and hoped that I wouldn't make a mistake. If I did something wrong, then I would have to accept and face more difficulties that would come. I'll always try to remember that the best way out of my difficulty is through it and not running away from it which I normally do.

When I finished this design, this would be my first ever project that would be build. So yeah, look at the sunny side, this is a great opportunity for me. By the time you're reading this, hopefully I'm on my drawing table finishing the working drawings. Wish me luck.

It Is Never Too Late

It Is Never Too Late To Have A Fresh Start With God.

Three years ago, I was struggling with my religion. My parents were once a part of a Catholic group named, Couples For Christ (CFC). I grew up with that kind of community to influence me a bit. I sometimes, got a chance to go with their prayer meetings when I was little. I could still remember their praises and songs.
When I went to high school  my mom worked abroad which also made my father to stop attending the prayer meetings since he wasn't so much of a strong believer. My mom was always the one who encourages him to go. Long story short, after my mom left, he never went to those prayer meetings and we don't go to church anymore.

By that time, my faith was weak. I became an Agnostic. Even though I studied at a Catholic School, it didn't really affect me. Sure, studying about the lives of different saints is inspiring but it kept me thinking if can't we just be a good person even without a God, or if there is, at least we could go to heaven or wherever we have to go if we were a better person.

Then when I started as a freshman in college, I met someone who introduced me into satanism. It was really different to what I believed in the past years, they say that demons are well...the opposite. They even have a website (you can ask me if you're curious) where they have this teachings and meditations.
It wasn't about praising Satan or the demons. Their goal is to empower yourself through meditation and open your eyes to what is happening to the nature and the energy of the earth. They said something about wandering spirits which I could really really relate.

In short, it was the kind of thing I want.

For almost 2 years and a half, I became almost a satanist. Almost. They have this ritual that makes you a real satanist. I didn't do it. I admit I'm still scared that this might be something that I don't really want. Instead, I just keep on doing the meditations and indeed, I empowered myself in a way I couldn't imagine. A little bit.
They have different kinds of meditation. For those who are beginners, intermediate, and for those who could do a lot. I was only on the beginner state, no matter how hard I try. Maybe before I get to the intermediate level, I would have to do the ritual.

Anyway, I just stopped. I don't even know why. Maybe it's because of our tight schedule in class or maybe I'm just making excuses. Since I started in Satanism, I can't tell a single soul about this. I know what their reaction would be. So it felt like a tiny bubble at first and it kept on growing until it felt like I couldn't hold it anymore.

Then I said about it with my ex-boyfriend (he's my boyfriend at that time). He's not much of an active Catholic either, so I thought maybe his reaction wouldn't be so bad. I have never been so wrong. Anyway, from then on, my ex-boyfriend became super religious and started to give me advice and such. It became really annoying.

Before we broke up, he gave me a book entitled, The Purpose Driven Life. It was only this vacation, when I started to read it. That book was something. Made me turn around 180 degrees and tried to see the real thing. The Bigger picture. I can't tell you enough how grateful I am to the person who gave me this book, to the person who wrote this book, and to God who never gave up on me.

Indeed, It Is Never Too Late Too Have A Fresh Start With God.
