The Best Way Out
The Best Way Out Of A Difficulty Is Through It.I have been procrastinating for a week now. I have to design a house for my uncle and he needs it by two days from now. I'm not a licensed architect yet, I'm just an incoming 4th year student and I am s@#* scared that I might do something wrong.
So yeah, I presented my design to my uncle and he likes it. Now, I have to give my working drawings by wednesday. The only thing I've finsihed by now is the first page which consists of exterior perspective, vicinity map, and the site development plan. You might think that at least I've done something but NO, I still have a LOT of things to do.
I don't really like to procrastinate but due to having a lot of fears about the columns, I can't start on floor plan. I know I can't just run away from my problems and it would only create much bigger problems like I would end up cramming this project. So I did a little research, go through my notes and hoped that I wouldn't make a mistake. If I did something wrong, then I would have to accept and face more difficulties that would come. I'll always try to remember that the best way out of my difficulty is through it and not running away from it which I normally do.
When I finished this design, this would be my first ever project that would be build. So yeah, look at the sunny side, this is a great opportunity for me. By the time you're reading this, hopefully I'm on my drawing table finishing the working drawings. Wish me luck.
