The Last Episode of Burn Notice

Today is the day were the final episode of my all time favorite series, the Burn Notice, is being released. I haven't seen it yet and I'm preparing myself for that. I know I'm over reacting for such TV series though for me, it's like reading a good old book, once you know you're reading the last few pages of it, you get really emotional.

Seven years. The said series has been going on for seven years and this is their final goodbye. I'm actually scared of watching it. I don't know what to expect. I really love this Spy Action TV series. I love each and every character in that series. As of now, I'm currently buffering the final episode at tubeplus.me so I decided to write a little bit about my mixed emotions while waiting for it. I'll be writing it here on the same post later after I watched the series finale.

*Watching* *Nervous* *Paused*

"My name is Michael Westen. I used to be a spy until...'We got a Burn Notice on you. You're blacklisted.' *Whistle*

When you're burned, you've got nothing, No cash, no credit, no job history. You're stuck in whatever city they decided to dump you in. 'Where am I?' 'Miami.' You do whatever work comes your way. You rely on anyone who's still talking to you:

A trigger-happy girlfriend; 'Should we shoot them?'
An old friend who used to inform on you to the FBI; 'You know spies - bunch of bitchy little girls'
Family too - 'Hey, is that your mom again?' - if you're desperate... 'Someone needs your help , Michael.'
And a down and out spy you met along the way; 'That's how we do it people!'

Bottom line, as long as you're burned, you're not going anywhere."

I'm going to miss this intro. This is the only intro that I actually watch and never skips. After watching the first part, I felt happy for Michael and Fiona. They're finally back together but the scenes after that reminds me of the episode in previous season when they were in Panama and they're running for their lives. What's bothering me is that Michael doesn't seem to care about his own safety now. I guess that's it for now and I'll continue watching it.

I am literally crying while watching the whole episode. I love how they use their lines in the intro to incorporate with the whole episode. It's sad that Madeline has to go. I love the sound effects especially when Michael's voice is doing the voice over. The explosions plus the instrumental sound made me even more emotional.

"A spy is never truly done being a spy until he's dead. It's part of you, the skills, the secrets, they never go away. And as long as you could be useful to someone, it's your fate to always be a spy. But if there's one thing spies are being bad at, it's accepting fate."

I might not be able to stop thinking about this series finale for weeks and even months. I know I'll always know this story because it's freaking good that I might actually write a fanfic about this when I have a time. I love when the two end up in Ireland where they actually met the first time and the details like the Miami, Florida Snow globe is being displayed at the center table. How I wish I could also keep something that would remind me of this wonderful TV series.
